Star 5+ (must have passed all Star 4 tests or higher)
The Star 5+ Program is the highest level of the STARSkate program, a learn-to-figure skate program unique to Canada at the Fort William FSC. It is the progression into the sport of figure skating after completing all of the Star 4 or higher test levels. STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of freeskate, skating skills, ice dance and interpretive. Participants are taught in a group, semi-private or private lesson format by an NCCP Certified Professional Coach/Coaches of their choosing who are trained specifically in teaching the mechanics and proper technique of figure skating in a progressive and sequential manner. Lessons will be arranged directly with the coach/coaches of your choosing. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada tests through the national standardized testing system. They will also have the opportunity to attend Skate Canada sanctioned competitions where they will compete to earn personal best scores and medals. The Star 5+ program consists of both on-ice and off-ice portions to ensure that skaters are being fully developed (participation in all aspects of both portions is mandatory). It is recommended that skaters participate in at least the full 4 day membership to achieve the best development.

i) Before you work a bingo, you must attend the bingo training provided by OLG. The training is a presentation done by an OLG employee.

Note: If the number of skaters registered at any level exceeds the maximum number allowed on the ice for that session, the Board of Directors may request some athletes to change sessions.
- Such measures are taken to ensure skater safety, and changes will only be made after consultation with the club coaching staff.
- Session priority will be given to those athletes skating full-time.
